Service Description

In this Algebra course, students will learn to effectively evaluate expressions, write equations, graph functions, solve quadratics and understand inequalities. This class will use Introduction to Algebra book from the Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) curriculum and will go deeper than the school Algebra curriculum. Books can be found here: Topics in this class include: -Exponents and log - Special functions -Sequence and series - Special manipulations About the Instructor: Ms. Dunbar is a math teacher for grades 6-9 in the state of Indiana, where she was responsible for designing much of their district math curriculum. Ms. Dunbar has extensive experience teaching math, both in-person and online using a variety of curricula. She is great at breaking down concepts and using technology and games to make math fun and relevant for her students. Dates: 1/17-5/18, one week off Spring break, total 17 classes Day: Wednesdays Time: 6pm PT/9 pm ET

If there are less than four students enrolled for a class, Boluo School reserves the right to cancel the class. Boluo School strives to provide the best quality service for each student. If a course does not meet your expectations, Boluo School will refund the remaining tuition before the second class. However, notice must be given within the first week of starting a course.
