Our enriching Spring courses bridge history and literature for a comprehensive exploration of the History of Genocides. Embark on a riveting exploration of humanity's darker chapters in our small group history class. This spring, join us in unraveling the complexities of genocides across cultures and time periods. Through immersive discussions, delve into the factors that precipitated mass violence, the resilience of communities, and the pursuit of justice. This small group class offers a space for reflection and dialogue, inviting you to confront the shadows of our shared history and contemplate a more compassionate future. Our expert tutors will facilitate lively discussions that connect historical contexts to the literary works, enabling students to develop a nuanced perspective on the human experience during this period. By the end of the course, students will emerge as adept historians and insightful literary analysts, equipped to draw profound connections between historical events and the creative expressions of the work they inspired. About the instructor: Ms. Kathryn has been teaching high school Social Studies and ELA for over 12 years. She has taught World Geography, World History II, US Government, Sociology and AP US History. She loves teaching social studies, but AP History is her favorite. She is also an experienced AP essay evaluator and published author. She encourages students to write insightful essays during her class. Dates: 1/16 - 5/14, with one week off Spring Break, 17 classes Days: Tuesdays Time: 9pm EDT/6pm PDT

If there are less than four students enrolled for a class, Boluo School reserves the right to cancel the class. Boluo School strives to provide the best quality service for each student. If a course does not meet your expectations, Boluo School will refund the remaining tuition before the second class. However, notice must be given within the first week of starting a course.
