Service Description

This social studies class focuses on the historical struggles for civil rights and their impact on society. Through interdisciplinary lenses including politics, geography, humanities, economics, and law, students will analyze key events and their implications. Small group sessions encourage critical thinking and exploration of diverse viewpoints. This course pairs with our literature course to examine influential literary works within the context of civil rights history, fostering a comprehensive understanding of this enduring struggle. About the instructor: Professor Brodish has been teaching social studies at the middle and high school level for for over eight years.
