Service Description
This course is designed for middle school students have some prior experience with public speaking and debating. It builds on foundational skills by introducing more advanced techniques in argumentation, critical thinking, and persuasive communication. Students will engage in structured debates, analyze current events, and learn to construct well-supported arguments. Each class will include peer and instructor feedback on presentations, along with interactive exercises to refine delivery, body language, and voice modulation. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence and tools to excel in formal debates and public speaking contexts. About the instructor: Coach Marc has a passion for both policy and debate and has worked as head coach for UC Davis debate team. Currently he works as Junior High Director of Speech and Debate and provides instruction to junior speech courses rooted in political philosophy, economics, and critical studies. Students of his have gone on to compete on a state, regional and national level and won prizes. Dates: 2/5 - 5/14 (total 15 sessions) Days: Wednesdays Time: 8-8:55 EST | 5-5:55 PST

If there are less than four students enrolled for a class, Boluo School reserves the right to cancel the class. Boluo School strives to provide the best quality service for each student. If a course does not meet your expectations, Boluo School will refund the remaining tuition before the second class. However, notice must be given within the first week of starting a course.
