Our Story

Fostering Literacy, Growing Leaders

Boluo Club is a nonprofit working to reduce educational inequity in immigrant and underrepresented communities. Each Saturday, we hold a free news reading class where students worldwide build reading, critical thinking, and public speaking skills together — guided by young volunteer mentors, many from immigrant families themselves. Every session is free, and every session is an exchange: students bring their own backgrounds to the same story and learn from what the others see in it. It's free...and it's fun!
