Social Studies: Pre AP World History I

Service Description
This social studies class focuses on topics covered in AP World History in high school but will be taught in a fun and engaging way for middle schoolers. In addition, the class will inspire critical thinking skills to connect with current events. AP world history is around four historical periods: 1450–1648 (Renaissance, Reformation, Exploration) 1648–1815 (Absolutism, Enlightenment, Revolutions) 1815–1914 (Industrialization, Nationalism, Imperialism) 1914–Present (World Wars, Cold War, Modern Europe) This course will focus on the last time period and will cover: Rise of Fascism & World War II Cold War & Division of Europe Decolonization & Post-War Europe Fall of Communism & European Union About the instructor: Professor Brodish has been teaching social studies at the middle and high school level for for over eight years. If there are less than four students enrolled for a class, Boluo School reserves the right to cancel the class. Boluo School strives to provide the best quality service for each student. If a course does not meet your expectations, Boluo School will refund the remaining tuition before the second class. However, notice must be given within the first week of starting a course.
